For the past three seasons (2005-07), Dixon served as head coach at West Johnston High School in Benson, N.C. In 2007, he led the Wildcats to a single-season school record seven victories (7-5), the school's first-ever state playoff appearance and the program's highest conference finish at second place in the Greater Neuse Conference.
During the 2000-04 seasons, Dixon was head coach at Cambridge (Mass.) High School, where he posted the highest winning percentage in school history, recorded the most wins in a single season and was voted as 2003 Massachusetts Coach of the Year.
On the collegiate level, Dixon has worked as wide receivers coach at the University of Rhode Island (1999), and held terms as assistant head coach/quarterbacks coach and running backs coach/recruiting coordinator at Northern Arizona University (1995-98).
He has also performed NFL summer internships with the Green Bay Packers (1998) and Carolina Panthers (1996).
Dixon is a 1987 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he played football and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.

J. Eugene Everett, LAT, ATC
Eugene has served as an Athletic Trainer since 1984. He began his career at East Millbrook Middle School, moved to Athens Drive High School in 1989. Since 1999 he has served as the Athletic Trainer at Green Hope High School in Cary, NC. He is also a clinical supervisor for the UNC Sports Medicine Program. He has served as the Athletic Trainer for the NCHSAA Softball and Basketball Championship Games. He has been active with the NCATA as the District 3 Representative of Board of Directors, Chairman of Honors and Awards, PR Chairman and presently serves as the Secretary for the Executive Board. He is serving on the NC Medical Society Sports Medicine Committee. He is a member of the NCATA, MAATA and the NATA. He has also had the honor of being selected as an East-West All Star Athletic Trainer in 1995, Secondary Schools Athletic Trainer of the Year in 2003, and as the Shine Bowl of the Carolinas Athletic Trainer for NC in 2003. He is a 1984 graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Industrial Arts Education and completedthe coursework for his national certification through the TATIP at Bowman Grey School of Medicine.
